1. Savory Treats: Finger sandwiches are a staple, including cucumber, chicken salad, and pimento cheese. They are typically crustless and cut into fun shapes. Expect a “good-sized” portion for each sandwich.

2. Scones: Freshly baked scones served warm, accompanied by clotted cream, jam and lemon curd. With multiple flavors like lemon poppyseed, blueberry, white chocolate raspberry, it’s sure to become your favorite!

3. Sweet Treats: A selection of pastries, cakes, and cookies adds a sweet touch. These can range from mini cupcakes to brownie bites and crafty creations from our chef.

4. Atmosphere & Dress: Afternoon tea is often served in a relaxing setting, making it a perfect occasion for socializing, celebrating special moments, or simply enjoying a quiet break. Come as you are or dress to the “nines”! Enjoying one of our SpecialTeas? Dress for the season or occasion!

Reservation Policies

Reservations are required 24-hours before your preferred teatime. 

Reservations of 2 people minimum to 15 people maximum. For parties of 16 or more, please reserve our Private Party Room for your special celebration or speak to us to make arrangements.

A credit card is required to make a reservation for an Afternoon Tea and Tipsy Tea. 

Credit cards are not charged and no deposit it taken at the time of your reservation booking.

The card on file will be charged in the event your party does not show up at the requested reservation time, or you cancel after 10 AM the day of your reservation.

If unable to make it and you have reached the cutoff time, you may change your Afternoon Tea from in-store dining to an Afternoon Tea To-Go at no additional charge.

Your food must be picked up the same day.

The card will be charged the amount of the original reservation ($45 per person plus tax). If you have any questions regarding this policy, please call the tea room.

Afternoon Tea 20% Gratuity Policy: An automatic gratuity of 20% is applied to all afternoon tea reservations at the time of check out. To maintain the exceptional standard of service that we pride ourselves on, we have implemented a 20% automatic gratuity for all afternoon teas. This gratuity is a reflection of the dedication and hard work of our staff, who go above and beyond to curate a memorable experience for each guest.

Gratuity is shared with our kitchen staff who work extra hard in prepping and preparing Afternoon Teas in advance of your arrival.

We appreciate your understanding and support of this policy, as it enables us to continue delivering the exceptional hospitality that defines our tea room experience.

Afternoon Tea reservations can be combined with regular lunch reservations if we have advance notice.

Please note the number of people in your party not participating in the Afternoon Tea.

They are allowed to order off of the lunch menu and will be charged an additional $8 bottomless tea price since they will be partaking in the tea we serve at your table.

Are they not drinking the tea? Let us know! The fee will not be applied.

20% automatic gratuity will be applied to their separate bill as well.

Dietary Needs: If your guests have food allergies and/or dietary restrictions, please let us know when making your reservation.

Please note that we cannot make a vegan (or dairy-free) afternoon tea.

Making an Afternoon Tea Reservation: Call the tea room at 713.218.6300 to make your reservation at least 1 day in advance.

Children 2yrs old and up:  Children are welcome at Afternoon Tea!

Children 2yrs old and up will be charged $45 per person, the same as adults. If needed, we are happy to accommodate their young palates, upon request, with a custom sandwich selection such as PB&J, Cheese and Ham, Turkey and Cheese, or even a good ole "butter bread on white" for our picky eaters.

We treat every guest that joins us for a proper Afternoon Tea with the same high-quality service and respect... no matter their age.

Reservation Duration and Seating:  Parties are given a 1.5 hour window to enjoy the delicious foods, service, and wonderful company from the scheduled start time of your reservation.

Tea orders will be taken and food will start to be served promptly after the scheduled reservation time, regardless of whether the entire party is seated or not, in order to give your party sufficient time to enjoy the experience. 

Please be aware that reservations may be booked behind you! We will kindly remind you of your time if it approaches the 1.5 hour window to allow time to set up for other guests.

Cancellation Policy:  The final bill will be based on the guest count specified at the time of booking unless we receive an updated headcount (adding OR subtracting guests) by at least 10:00am on the date of your reservation.

Changes must be made by calling us at 713-218-6300 with the date of the party, the name on the reservation, your phone number, and the final headcount no later than 10 AM the day of your reservation.

Changes are not official until you receive a phone call from a member of our staff. 

The menu preparation begins days in advance and requires that we bring in extra staff and food, so the reservation and cancellation policy is strictly enforced.

If we do not receive a phone call canceling your reservation, you will be charged the full amount of the bill based on your headcount that we have on file when you made the reservation.

We understand life happens. Should members of your party not make it to the tea room, and you were unable to change your reservation numbers, we will box up their food for you to take home.

Gift Cards: Gift cards may be purchased and used for Afternoon Teas for you or a guest. You may call the tea room at 713-218-6300 to purchase a gift card over the phone, purchase in-store or purchase online here. Gift cards may be sent via SMS messaging, sent via email, left here in the store to await the recipient to pick up, OR picked up at the store by the payee/recipient during business hours. Gift cards never expire.

Outside Foods:  No outside foods are allowed. Our talented staff would be happy to make a cake or delicious party favor for you if your reservation is made with ample time for the chef to prepare your request. Additional charges will apply for this and can be discussed at the time of the reservation.   

Decorations:  You may come 10 minutes early to set up decorations such as fresh flowers, place cards, special party favors, etc... However, please do not use glitter or confetti on the tables or bring in large clusters of balloons. Tealight candles are allowed, but nothing larger.

YES. Afternoon Tea Service is only available by reservation AT LEAST one day prior.

You must CALL and speak to a staff member to confirm a reservation with a credit card. We do not accept online or emailed reservation/ cancellation requests.

The energy and love that goes into each afternoon tea is equal. Substitutions can be made for picky eaters, but the price remains the same. Children under 2 yrs old are not charged for. Please include them in your reservation number though!

When in doubt, you may order off of the lunch menu for your picky eater.

We allow substitutions only for picky eaters under ten. Options include PB&J, Ham, Turkey, Cheese, and butter sandwiches. The only other changes that can be made are to accommodate for allergies or dietary restrictions. The menu is prepared the day of your reservation before your arrival to ensure you can enjoy the freshest selections as soon as your reservation begins.

We can accommodate common allergies, including nut, gluten & dairy sensitivities and allergies, and we offer a vegetarian option. However, please note that we do not provide vegan options. We cannot do a combination of gluten AND dairy-free for a single guest. Dietary requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance, as we cannot accommodate changes on the day of your reservation.

Reservations must be made by PHONE and confirmed with a credit card number. This card will not be charged on the day of your tea but can be if you are a no-call/no-show. As mentioned before, preparations go in ahead of time, so to avoid this charge, cancel your tea by 10 AM the day of by phone. Cancellations will not be accepted via email.
